At Bank of America, we understand what it means to be a sports fan. We share your passion and loyalty for sports through our sponsorships with teams and organizations that embrace the competitive spirit and aspire to achieve a higher standard of accomplishment.
Since the inception of the Patriots Fan of the Year Award in 1987, the New England Patriots have presented 35 individuals with the Joseph R. Mastrangelo Memorial Trophy, honoring the fan or fans that best represent the spirit of the Patriots. These individuals have all embodied extreme passion, unwavering dedication, and a deep level of loyalty.
At the conclusion of the season, Tim Fowler was recognized as the 2023 Patriots Fan of the Year presented by Bank of America. Fowler has been attending games religiously since 1982, leading a caravan from Newburyport, Mass. for every home game and cementing himself as a prominent fixture at the tailgate. Since 1982, he has only missed four home games. That is four games out of a total of 336 home games, not including playoffs. Tim's devotion and commitment to Patriot Nation is far in excess of half his lifetime, and the ratio will further extend in favor of the Patriots.
On January 7, Tim was honored on the field at the Patriots vs Jets game, receiving her custom jersey and the Joseph Mastrangelo Fan of the Year trophy. Tim was joined by Robert Kraft, Miceal Chamberlain, President of Bank of America Massachusetts, and members for the Mastrangelo Family.
