TEAM NOTES 

PATRIOTS SET NFL RECORD FOR MOST PASS ATTEMPTS WITHOUT AN INTERCEPTION TO START A SEASON
The Patriots set an NFL record by going 258 pass attempts to start the season without an interception to surpass the 2008 Washing Redskins, who went 251 pass attempts without an interception to start the season. Jacoby Brissett (55), Jimmy Garoppolo (60) and Tom Brady (143) combined for the record.

PATRIOTS END STREAK WITHOUT AN INTERCEPTION
The Patriots threw their first interception of the season in the second quarter, falling one game shy of the NFL record for most games without an interception to start a season.

BLOUNT TIES CAREER HIGH WITH THREE RUSHING TOUCHDOWNS
RB LeGarrette Blount tied his personal best with three rushing touchdowns. He scored on a pair of 1-yard runs and a 13-yard run. It is his second career three-touchdown game in the regular season. He also had three rushing touchdowns vs. Jacksonville on Sept. 27, 2015. Blount tied a Patriots record overall with four rushing touchdowns in the 2013 AFC Divisional win vs. Indianapolis on Jan. 11, 2014.

BLOUNT REACHES 10 RUSHING TOUCHDOWNS; LEADS NFL WITH 12 RUSHING TOUCHDOWNS IN 2016
RB LeGarrette Blount pushed his 2016 totals to 12 rushing touchdowns after scoring on two 1-yard touchdown runs in the first half and a 13-yard run in the third quarter. He is the 10th Patriots player to reach 10 rushing touchdowns and it is the 14th time the Patriots have had a player reach 10 rushing touchdowns in a season. Blount is on pace to finish the season with 21 rushing touchdowns. The Patriots' record for most rushing touchdowns in a season is 14 by Curtis Martin in 1995 and 1996. The NFL record for most rushing touchdowns in a season is 28 by LaDanian Tomlinson in 2006 with San Diego. A player has rushed for 20 or more touchdowns in a season 20 times.

BLOUNT HAS SCORED IN EIGHT OF NINE GAMES IN 2016
Blount has scored in eight of the Patriots nine games in 2016. Randy Moss scored in 13 of the 16 games in 2007, the Patriots record for most games with at least one touchdown in a 16-game season in team history. Seven Patriots players have scored in 10 games in a season, most recently by TE Rob Gronkowski in 2014.

Blount has scored at least one rushing touchdown in five straight games.

BLOUNT IS ON A PACE
Blount has rushed for 678 yards this season and is on place for 1,205 yards. It would be the 15th time in team history and first since 2012 that the Patriots would have a 1,000-yard rusher in a season.

MARTELLUS BENNETT GOES OVER 100 FOR THE THIRD TIME IN 2016; FITH 100-YARD GAME OF HIS CAREER
TE Martellus Bennett set a single-season best with his third 100-yard game of the 2016 season after finishing with 102 yards on seven receptions. He had 114 vs. Miami on Sept. 18 and 109 vs. Buffalo on Oct. 2. He had two 100-yard games in 2014. Overall, Bennett now has five career 100-yard games. 

SHEA MCLELLIN BLOCKS EXTRA POINT ATTEMPT
LB Shea McClellin blocked a second-quarter extra point attempt. It is the first blocked kick of his career and the first blocked extra point since LB Jamie Collins blocked an extra point at Indianapolis on Oct. 18, 2015. 

TREY FLOWERS HAS SECOND STRAIGHT TWO-SACK GAME
DL Trey Flowers had his second straight two-sack game after finishing with two sacks for 15 yards. He had a 7-yard sack in the first quarter and an 8-yard sack in the third quarter. Flowers registered his first two career sacks in the win at Buffalo on Oct. 20. 

TOM BRADY HAS FOURTH 300-YARD GAME OF 2016
Tom Brady completed 23-of-32 passes for 316 yards for his fourth 300-yard game of 2016. Overall, Brady has 75 career 300-yard games, third in NFL history to the 102 by Drew Brees and the 93 by Peyton Manning. 

DONT'A HIGHTOWER FINISHED WITH 10 TACKLES
LB Dont'a Hightower finished with a team-leading 10 total tackles. It is his 15th career 10-plus tackle game and his second of the 2016 season. He had 13 total tackles in the win vs. Cincinnati on Oct. 16.

DL TREY FLOWERS MAKES FIRST NFL START
DL Trey Flowers made his first NFL start. He had his second straight two-sack game. 

ROOKIE DB CYRUS JONES RETURNS TO ACTION
Rookie DB Cyrus Jones returned to action after missing the last three games. He was used as a kick returner and a punt returner.
