FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots announced today that they signed DL Darius Kilgo to the practice squad. He was released by the Patriots on Dec. 8, 2016.
  Kilgo, 24, was claimed by the Patriots off waivers from Denver on Nov. 28, 2016, after being released on Nov. 25, 2016. The 6-foot-3, 319-pounder, originally entered the NFL as a sixth-round draft pick (203rd overall) by Denver in the 2015 NFL Draft out of Maryland. Kilgo has appeared in 18 games as a reserve over two seasons and compiled 11 tackles and one pass defensed. In 2015, Kilgo appeared in nine regular-season games and posted six tackles and one pass defensed. He was inactive for all three playoff games. This season, he has played in nine games and made five tackles for Denver
