FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots announced that they have re-signed RB Brandon Bolden, who was an unrestricted free agent. Terms of the contract were not announced.
Bolden is a veteran of five NFL seasons with the Patriots after joining the team as a rookie free agent out of Mississippi on May 10, 2012. The 5-foot-11, 220-pounder, has played in 67 regular season games with six starts and has registered 203 rushing attempts for 845 yards and six touchdowns and has caught 46 passes for 366 yards with two touchdowns. Bolden also has 20 special teams tackles and one blocked punt. In addition, he has played in 12 postseason games with two starts. Last season, he played in 14 games and had one rushing attempt for four yards, caught two passes for 15 yards and added four special teams tackles. Bolden played in all three postseason games, including Super Bowl LI and accumulated two special teams tackles.
