Madden '18 is about get the G.O.A.T. treatment. EA Sports announced on Friday morning that Tom Brady will be the cover star of this year's Madden, making a Patriot the face of the video game for the second season in a row.Â
Rob Gronkowski was front and center for last year's cover, and with an epic comeback in Super Bowl LI, getting a Patriot on the cover was a clear choice. Who better than the man who orchestrated the greatest come-from-behind win in Super Bowl history?
The "G.O.A.T. Edition" features Tom in signature "fire 'em up" stance, one that is familiar to Patriots fans as a sign that it's about to go down. The cover shows him mid-yelling his signature "Let's go!!" before a game, and it is sure to get fans across the country excited to execute their own epic battles on the football field -- albeit virtual.

While the more superstitious among us might worry about the "Madden Curse," Tom made it clear he's not stressing about any kind of bad luck in a video posted to his Facebook. Smashing mirrors, walking under ladders and a place on the Madden cover don't scare him. Check out the full video below.
