If the first three days of training camp are any indication, Patriots fans are pleased with the offense's addition of K.J. Osborn.

New England signed the versatile wide receiver in March, and he's received a warm welcome in the forms of homemade signs and cheers from the crowds at practice. Osborn was named one of the Patriots Offseason Award winners, and every day, he's stayed long after team drills to sign autographs and get acquainted with fans in his new NFL home.

Patriots.com got to know Osborn after the first week of training camp. Here's what he had to say about his big family, his dog Larry, and finishing up his master's degree in criminal justice.

What is your favorite thing you did this offseason?

I was in one of my best friends' weddings in the Bahamas.

How about the best thing you've done here in New England?

I took a tour of the city with my mom and my sister just to get to know the place -- downtown, all the historic facts, the park. And I threw the first pitch at a Red Sox game. Fenway was awesome.

Do you have a favorite restaurant here yet?

Right now it's Chipotle. I was pretty busy this past spring finding a house, and the summer has been pretty busy too, so now I have to get out there and try more.

What are three random things you couldn't live without?

My dog, he's not random but definitely my dog. Cologne -- I'm a big cologne guy but don't smell me right now. I have to keep my favorite scents a secret. And then my bed -- I couldn't live without my bed.

What kind of dog?

He's an English bulldog named Larry.

You seem into fashion. What are some of your favorite brands and designers?

I am sort of new to the fashion world after realizing I do enjoy it. I actually went to Paris this offseason for fashion week. I really like Christian Dior, I like Amiri, and there's a brand called BLUEMARBLE that I really like too.

Do you have any other hobbies or things you like to do in your downtime?

Relaxing. I don't know if that's a hobby but I like to relax if I don't have anything going on. I just be chilling around my family and staying off my feet.

If you weren't a professional athlete what do you think you'd do for a living?

I'm getting my master's degree in criminal justice because I wanted to be in the FBI or the Secret Service. I'm pretty much done with It — I have to take a test and I'll be finished with my master's

Where is your favorite place you've ever traveled?

Africa. In Zimbabwe. I went on a mission trip last year that was life-changing. It was really cool.

What is your favorite thing about your hometown?

There's a Dairy Queen everyone goes to. I'm a big sweets guy and everyone would go there so that's one thing I maybe miss a little bit.

What is your favorite kind of food?

Breakfast food. I can eat breakfast food any time of the day.

Do you have an ideal pregame meal?

No, really, I'll have whatever they have in (player dining). Maybe pasta. I'm usually just ready to get on the field.

Do you have a favorite movie or show?

My favorite movie is definitely The Pursuit of Happiness. I guess my favorite show is SportsCenter.

How about a favorite kind of music?

If you asked me I probably would say hip hop, but if you look at my Apple Music you'd see it's probably gospel music.

Do you have a dream car?

My dream car was a Benz and I was able to get one. Now, I would probably say either a G Wagon or a McLaren, but I just got a Cyber Truck so I'm excited about that.

Do you have any rituals or non-negotiables in your daily routine?

I pray. If I don't have that, I'm not me.

What are you most proud of besides your football career?

I would say being a good family member. I have a lot of brothers and sisters, and being in this position, there are a lot of people who count on me. I have a busy schedule but I try to be there for my family members — especially my brothers and sisters.

How many siblings do you have?

I have seven sisters and one brother. I'm the fourth oldest.

What is the best piece of advice you've ever received?

Something I have written on my mirror right now that a coach told me is "See a lot, see a little. See a little, see a lot." The meaning is that if you try to look too far into the future you'll skip the things right in front of you. But if you keep stacking days and focus on what's in front of you you'll get to the bigger picture.

Is there a cause that's near and dear to your heart?

Giving back in general, whether it's working with a charity or being out here giving my gloves to a kid. Always spread love.

What is your favorite part about being a New England Patriot?

My teammates. It's a really great group of guys and I love the receiver room. We have fun. It's the Patriots way — for sure. We work very hard here and guys embrace that. We grind through it and I'm excited for the season.
