Gisele Bündchen is no stranger to the cover of Vogue. She's appeared on the cover time and time again -- most recently, this week.
While she sat down for a full-fledged **interview about her career, her passions and her activism**, Gisele also welcomed a camera into her and Tom Brady's Brookline home for a rapid-fire, fun Q&A session, and it turned out, she (of course) had a few interesting tidbits to share about her husband.
Socks and shoes, please
While Gisele loves soaking up time in Costa Rica, barefoot and carefree, Tom would much rather keep his socks and shoes on. When asked what people might be surprised to know about Tom, Gisele said, "He doesn't like being barefoot."
What we learn from each other
Both Tom and Gisele have their strengths and yet both have the capacity to learn from one another. Tom taught Gisele how to say no to people. Gisele said she has taught Tom to recycle for the planet's sake. In the accompanying article, Gisele even said their kids police Tom to put plastic bottles in the proper receptacle.
How he asked
When it comes to marriage proposals, there's a lot of pressure to get it right. Tom didn't disappoint with an elaborate plan and, uh, a faked emergency. "When he proposed to me, he made up this whole story. My apartment was flooding, and I ran over there to try and fix the situation. When I got there the whole apartment had candles and rose petals everywhere." Safe to say, Gisele was able to look past the made-up flood.
Tom's spirit emoji
Without hesitation, Gisele said the emoji that represents him is the smiley face with sunglasses on. "Cool and collected," she said. We can't say we disagree.
