What do an Army softball player and a Patriots linebacker have in common? Both have some serious hops.
Army's Kasey McCravey made a human hurdle of the Lehigh University catcher to avoid a tag at the plate and score in the Patriot League semifinals this weekend.
The move is a familiar one for Patriots fans, who watched Jamie Collins effortlessly hop over the Colts offensive line last season to block the extra point.
Army won 3-1 to advance to the championship, and Kasey is – fittingly – the Patriot League Player of the Year.
From one hurdle hop to another, congratulations Kasey. Looks like Jamie has got some leap frog competition, and he is impressed.
