Bears boost O-line, sign veteran Miller

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (March 7, 2005) -- The Chicago Bears signed right tackle Fred Miller, agreeing to a five-year deal with the 32-year-old veteran who hasn't missed a start since 1998.

The 6-foot-7, 320-pound Miller was a cut by the Tennessee Titans last month so he wouldn't count $9.32 million against the cap in 2005.

The signing of Miller will allow the Bears to move John Tait from right tackle to left tackle.
