RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The New England Patriots removed rookie running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis from the PUP list today. Green-Ellis participated in the Patriots' training camp practice at Gillette Stadium this afternoon.
Green-Ellis, 23, was signed by the Patriots as a rookie free agent on May 2, 2008. In his collegiate career, the 5-foot-11-inch, 215-pound running back played for the University of Indiana (2003-04) and the University of Mississippi (2006-07). In his two seasons at Indiana, Green-Ellis totaled 1,732 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns. In his two seasons at Mississippi, he compiled 2,137 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns.
