Broncos sign defensive end Lang

Free-agent defensive end Kenard Lang signed a three-year contract with the Denver Broncos. Lang, a nine-year veteran and former first-round draft pick, played the last four years with the Cleveland Browns.

DENVER (March 17, 2006) -- Free-agent defensive end Kenard Lang signed a three-year contract with the Denver Broncos.

Lang, a nine-year veteran and former first-round draft pick, played the last four years with the Cleveland Browns. In 16 games with the Browns last season, Lang had 43 tackles, two sacks and ranked third on the team with 10 pressures.

Lang has played in 138 regular-season games (101 starts), recording 528 tackles, 44 sacks, and three interceptions.
