When Chandler Jones was traded to the Arizona Cardinals on March 15, fans and players alike were quick to bid the defensive end adieu.
Chandler was selected in the first round of the 2012 Draft and became a fan favorite in New England. Before shipping off to Arizona, Chandler took some time to thank the fans and the organization for the opportunity to play and win a Super Bowl with the Patriots.
It didn't take long for Chandler's former teammates to reciprocate those feelings.
Gronk posted pictures on Twitter and told Chandler to "keep balling" in Arizona.
Julian Edelman paid homage to his teammate, friend and Burger Tyme companion with a play on the movie "Twins," with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito.
Rob Ninkovich took to Instagram to warn the NFC that a player whose "future is bright" is coming.
Devin McCourty wished Chandler and Sealver Siliga, who signed with the Seahawks, the best of luck with their new teams.
Don't'a Hightower posted on Twitter that Chandler will "keep beasting" with the Cardinals.
Duron Harmon said he would miss Chandler as a friend and teammate, but most importantly, as an opponent in post-practice video game time.
Chandler may be moving on to Arizona, but it is safe to say that he, his teammates and his fans will remember where the roots of his career were planted.
