INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 23, 2006) -- Colts safety Mike Doss will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL in his right knee.
Doss suffered the injury during Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins and medical tests determined the tear, Colts coach Tony Dungy said.
Doss had been a starter the last two years but came off the bench the first two games this season until Bob Sanders suffered a knee injury. Sanders has missed the last four games after having arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.
Dungy is hopeful Sanders will return this week.
