The Patriots are still busy with free agency and draft preparation but that doesn't mean the NFL calendar stops. The team will be back in Foxborough and back to work in no time as New England will take its first steps of the 2013 season.
For the Patriots that means the start of the offseason program as well as organized training activities and mini-camp. The offseason program is scheduled to get underway April 15 while OTAs are scheduled for May 20-21, May 23, May 28-30, June 3-4 and June 6-7. The team's lone mandatory mini-camp is set to run from June 11-13.
The mini-camp generally ends the offseason work and begins roughly a six-week period in which the players are free before the start of training camp in late July.
