Bill Belichick is the only captain the Patriots want at the helm of their ship, and according to a "For the Win" article that came out this week, they are not alone.
The USA Today site ranked all 32 NFL head coaches "from worst to first," and Bill finished at the top spot. According to the article, "Belichick is the greatest coach in NFL history" (duh), and his moves are always several steps in front of the pack at all times.
"The game is constantly evolving, and, somehow, Belichick always seems to be ahead of the evolutionary curve," the article said.
While Belichick was No. 1, he was in good company at the top. The Seahawks' Pete Carroll, Bruce Arians of the Cardinals, Mike Zimmer of the Vikings and Sean Payton of the Saints make up the top five respectively.
Patriots Nation doesn't need validation that Bill Belichick is the greatest coach in the league (and ever), but we happily accept this reassurance. Check out the full ranking here.
