Robert Kraft's team tied with the NBA's Los Aneles Lakers for No. 6 on the list, the two teams worth an estimated $2.6 billion. The Patriots are up in the rankings from the No. 8 spot a year ago.
New England is the second most valuable NFL franchise according to Forbes, trailing only the Cowboys who ranked No. 2 overall at $3.2 billion, moving up three spots from their own previous slot on the list.
Soccer's Real Madrid was the most valuable franchise on the list once again, edging Dallas at $3.26 billion.
