Simply put, there weren't many positive takeaways for the Patriots following their week one loss in Miami. New England was dominated in the trenches, which ultimately led to an embarassing performance on both sides of the ball. But here in New England the players know how to keep their focus on the next opponent and not allow past failures to carry over into the next week. Andy Hart says Tom Brady and the Patriots are prepared for a bounce-back performance in week two, but it certainly won't be an easy task.
Stopping Cordarrelle Patterson and Adrian Peterson is the obvious challenge, but it may not even be the most difficult task. Under Mike Zimmer, the Vikings defense could present a lot of problems for the Patriots offensive line, who had no answer for Cameron Wake and the Dolphins last week. Nevertheless, the players say they're welcoming the challenge. However, unfortunately they may have to face that challenge without Jamie Collins who was absent from practice on Friday with a thigh injury. He was listed as questionable for Sunday's game along with five other players. It is unknown when he suffered the injury.
