After a stellar performance in Super Bowl LI, James White has been a popular guy. He's made the rounds on television, including a stop on "Conan" last week where he was given a brand new truck.
This week on "Live with Kelly," James was gifted another car. Not so fast. This time, it was a toy. Host Kelly Ripa, who was joined by David Muir, joked that the remote control car was the most they could do.Â
"We didn't want [Conan O'Brien] to be the only talk show to give you a vehicle, so we got you one too," Kelly said as the car sped out on stage. "I want you to understand something, that is all the budget. We spent the entire budget."
While James graciously accepted the toy car, the interview wasn't all jokes. Of course, they reflected on the Super Bowl, including his game-winning touchdown, and the parade in Boston that followed. James had some kind words about Patriots Nation, as well.Â
"There's nothing like them, home or away. Some away games, there's more Patriots fans than some of the home team's fans. It's pretty crazy to see," he said. "We have the best fans in the country. They travel everywhere, and that parade was everything. I wish I could go back and do it again."
