New England safety Lawyer Milloy has been named to his second straight AFC Pro Bowl team. The four-year veteran was named as a starter, and he was the lone Patriot named to the 42-man squad.
Milloy leads the team in tackles with 144, and he needs just eight more to set a new career-high. He has also started 56 consecutive regular season games for the team since cracking the starting lineup midway through his rookie season.
Several other Patriots were named alternates to the Pro Bowl team. They are tackle Bruce Armstrong, quarterback Drew Bledsoe, wide receiver Terry Glenn, cornerback Ty Law and defensive end Willie McGinest.
