It was a frenzied start to the new league year across the NFL but not necessarily in New England, where as is typically the case the Patriots were in no rush to make earth-shattering moves. But Bill Belichick and the rest of the brain trust did do some tinkering before the day was through.
The biggest news may have been Tom Brady’s contract details being revealed but the Patriots also signed veteran linebacker Ramon Humber, who played the last six seasons with New Orleans. Humber is more of a special teams player but he does have some starting experience as well.
