Karen Guregian of The Boston Herald writes that "When it comes to offseason moves, and which team landed the greatest impact player of them all, it's really no contest. The Patriots hit the free agent jackpot with the signing of CB Darrelle Revis. With him on board, now it's just a matter of the Pats sprinkling in a few more accessories and shoring up a few areas through the draft, which gets underway Thursday."

In his series breaking down 10 perfect Patriots draft picks, Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com takes a look at Florida State running back Devonta Freeman. He feels the Patriots could target Freeman in the third or fourth round, filling a spot at running back left by LeGarrette Blount, who signed with the Steelers via free agency.

Karen Guregian of The Boston Herald writes that draft prospect Deone Bucannon, a safety from Washington State is worth a shot for the Patriots to add a big hitter in the mold of Rodney Harrison.

Mark Farinella of The Sun Chronicle writes that depsite the amount of free agent signings this offseason, the Patriots still have plenty of holes to fill on defense. Farinella breaks down the positions of need and offers potential draft picks the team could select.

Patriots Rob Ninkovich, Logan Mankins and Devin McCourty reflect on how the NFL draft has changed since they were selected in a piece by Glen Farley of The Brockton Enterprise.
