Turning 40 is a major milestone birthday for anyone.

Turning 40 as an active NFL quarterback is a rarity.

Turning 40 as arguably the best active NFL quarterback is unprecedented.

But that's Tom Brady's reality on Thursday as TB12 hits the big 4-0 in Foxborough, where he'll celebrate with a morning training camp practice session.

Media outlets from all across the web have found different ways to acknowledge the big day.

The Boston Globe lists all the times that Brady has made us laugh. The Globe also wonders if 40 is just a number to Brady. The Globe notes that Rob Gronkowski has adopted portions of Brady’s nutrition and workout plan, while the tight end promises a gift of touchdowns for his aging quarterback.

Heading into the big day, the Globe's practice report says that Wednesday was not Brady’s sharpest day of work. The Globe also notes that the Patriots receiving corps is a little banged up these days.

The Boston Herald advises that we should just enjoy the 40-year-old Brady for as long as possible. The Herald says Brady faces the “daunting history” of 40-year-old NFL QBs. The Herald's Inside Track notes that a new music video from Macklemore is filled with trolling jabs at Brady. The Herald writes that Pro Bowl safety and captain Devin McCourty is still learning what he can give to the Patriots. The Herald also observes that Harvey Langi and Deatrich Wise Jr. are proving to be quick learners in the early stages of their New England careers.
