SANTA CLARA, Calif. (July 26, 2006) -- The San Francisco 49ers signed third-round pick Brandon Williams to a four-year contract.

Williams, a kick returner and receiver from Wisconsin, signed one day before the 49ers were scheduled to report to camp at their training complex. Williams set the Badgers' career record with 202 receptions in his four seasons as a starter.
