As the Patriots prepare to host the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday, the warm-weather Cards are having a bit of difficulty preparing for the potentially snowy conditions here in New England.
"We've talked about it," Arizona head coach Ken Whisenhunt said in a *Tuscon Citizen *story. "We're aware of what the conditions may be. But it's not like there's someplace we could go to practice to prepare for it."
For a while, it looked like a storm might move into the desert this week.
"I thought we were going to get a little help with that," Whisenhunt added in an *Arizona Republic *piece. "It magically cleared up before practice. Maybe we'll get a day like that [today]."
Meanwhile, the Patriots have some injury issues at left tackle, as *The Boston Globe *notes today.
Out in Arizona, QB Matt Leinart, a college teammate of the Pats' Matt Cassel, isn't surprised by his friend's success in New England.
"He's a really good athlete, with a big arm. He can move. And he's smart," Leinart said in a *Boston Herald *feature. "It's not really a surprise that he's doing what he's doing ... He's playing great. He’s going to basically get that team to the playoffs."
And a CBS Sports article lauds the job Pats head coach Bill Belichick has done in a year full of adversity.
