FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots announced today that they have signed RB Kenneth Farrow to the practice squad and released WR Jace Billingsley from the practice squad. Farrow was signed by the Patriots on Aug. 27, 2018, and released on Sept. 1.
Farrow, 25, originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with San Diego out of Houston in 2016. The 5-foot-9, 219-pounder played in 13 games with two starts as a rookie and totaled 60 rushing attempts for 192 yards and 13 receptions for 70 yards. Farrow sat out the 2017 season on injured reserve and was released by the Chargers on April 13, 2018.
Billingsley, 25, was signed to the New England practice squad on Sept. 4, 2018. The 5-foot-9, 189-pounder originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with Detroit out of Eastern Oregon on May 6, 2016. Billingsley has spent time on the Lions practice squad and 53-man roster in his first two seasons and appeared in two games in 2017. He did not accrue any statistics. Billingsley was released Detroit on Sept. 1, 2018.
