FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced that they have released defensive lineman Myron Pryor.
Pryor, 26, is a veteran of four NFL seasons with the Patriots after originally joining the team as a sixth-round draft pick (207th overall) out of Kentucky in 2009. The 6-foot-1, 305-pounder has played in 24 NFL games with two starts and has 23 total tackles, one sack and one forced fumble. He spent last season on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform List with a shoulder injury that limited him to just two games in 2011.
