FOXBOROUGH, Mass.– The New England Patriots announced that they have released RB Robert Martin. Martin was signed by the Patriots on August 25.

Martin, 23, originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the New York Giants on May 14, 2018. The 5-foot-11, 212-pounder was released by the Giants at the end of training camp last year and spent his rookie season on the Giants practice squad. He was released by the Giants in May of this year.
