The team's success reflected in the local ratings, as WBZ's local broadcast tied for the highest ratings of the Patriots 2016 season amongst non-primetime performances.
Sunday's broadcast received a 35.5 household rating, which ties for the highest rating of the season amongst the seven non-primetime performances by the Patriots, to go along with a market share of 59. WBZ's broadcast peaked at 7:15 p.m. with a 40.2 and 62 rating and market share respectively, while averaging 1,351,100 total viewers. Sunday's game once again topped the weekly ratings for the Boston market, marking the 10th consecutive weekly ratings victory for the team through its first 10 games.
The Patriots hit the road again next Sunday for a 4:25 p.m. kickoff at MetLife Stadium in their first of two remaining meetings with the New York Jets. The game will be televised locally in Boston on WBZ Channel 4 with Greg Gumbel calling the play-by-play and accompanied by color commentary from Trent Green.
