Patriots weekend roundup: Babies, skiing and ping pong

From new fathers to an award ceremony, it was a busy weekend for your Patriots.

It may be the offseason, but that doesn't mean the Patriots aren't busy. This weekend alone proved to be filled with nonstop activity and exciting announcements.

Devin McCourty and his wife Michelle became first time parents over the weekend when they welcomed their daughter, Londyn. And of course, Devin entered fatherhood in style with the perfect t-shirt from his collection.

Devin wasn't alone, either. Brandon Bolden also welcomed his first daughter, and Stephon Gilmore welcomed a daughter of his own the same day he signed with the Patriots.

Nate Solder accepted his Ed Block Courage Award over the weekend, as well. The award is given to one player on each team who is a role model within the community and demonstrates professionalism, strength and dedication. Nate was voted this year's recipient by his teammates.

While Nate accepted a prestigious honor, Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola fought for the honor of ping pong champion.

Chris Hogan made sure to let them know who was actually the champ though, and it led to this incredible, gif-filled Twitter conversation.

Meanwhile, on Wachusett Mountain, Stephen Gostkowski and Dion Lewis were taking in the snowy views. Stephen even hit the slopes, showing up his quarterback in the process, though he brought in a stunt double for the extra flare (and flips).

To cap off the day, Stephen did what he does best: kicked a football. He launched a ball off the top of the mountain.

Finally, the newly acquired Brandin Cooks spent a day taking in another team's competition. While soon his hometown team will be the Celtics, he was seen watching a Portland Trail Blazers game over the weekend.

Even in the offseason, there are truly no days off for the guys.
