Coming off the very much enjoyed but also unexpected blowout of the Jets on Monday night, the Patriots have had a short week to get ready for Sunday's trip to Chicago. The Bears are a first-place team, but not one that a lot of fans seem to respect. Lovie Smith's team sports a very good, resurgent defense. It doesn't give up a lot of points, stops the run, holds true on third down and gets after the quarterback a little bit. That's a challenge for Tom Brady and the Patriots high-scoring offense. Throw in potential single-digit temperatures, 20-plus mph winds and a poor playing surface at Soldier Field and there's a lot to think about in this matchup.
