The Patriots had one remaining roster spot as the team convened in Foxborough on the eve of the official start of training camp, and according to multiple reports that opening has been filled. Former Boston College defensive lineman Tim Bulman signed a one-year deal with the Patriots and will join a crowded field of defensive linemen looking for jobs this summer.
Bulman is a six-year veteran who spent five of those seasons with Houston and the other with Arizona. He has just two career starts to his credit but does have experience playing in four- and three-man fronts, a trait that no doubt made him attractive to Bill Belichick. So, with camp set to open to the public in less than 24 hours, the roster is currently set at 90.
