The Associated Press announced its annual All-Pro team on Friday and the Patriots were one of five teams with two players selected. Tight end Rob Gronkowski and kicker Stephen Gostkowski were the New England players who made the first team.
Also, linebacker Jamie Collins was named to the second team.
Tom Brady lost out in favor of Cam Newton andCarson Palmer, who were the first- and second-team quarterbacks, respectively.
One interesting note had Oakland's Khalil Mack becoming the first player in history to make the team at two positions: defensive end and linebacker.
