Patriots Head Coach Bill Belichick shuffled his 53-card deck on Saturday with four roster moves.
First, Belichick announced that 11-year veteran wide receiver Chris Calloway and third-year center Jason Andersen were released by the Patriots.
To fill the two vacant spots on the roster, two players were elevated from the parctice squad. Linebacker Olrick Johnson was moved up for the second time this season and former Harvard tight end Chris Eitzmann also was activated. Both players accompanied the team to Indianapolis.
Andersen was placed on the team's early inactive list for this weekend's game against the Colts in Indianapolis before being let go Saturday.
With his release, fullback Chris Floyd was moved to the inactive list for Sunday's game at the RCA Dome.
The Patriots have two openings on the practice squad following Saturday's transactions.
