PITTSBURGH (June 1, 2005) -- Wide receiver Fred Gibson signed a three-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, becoming the third draft pick to sign with them.

The Steelers are the only NFL team that has signed three draft picks to date. Gibson, a fourth-rounder from Georgia, joins guard Chris Kemoeatu, a sixth-rounder, and linebacker Rian Wallace, a fifth-rounder, in signing.
