HOUSTON (April 20, 2005) -- The Houston Texans have signed defensive lineman Daleroy Stewart and receiver Reggie Swinton.
Stewart, a four-year veteran, spent three seasons with the Dallas Cowboys before joining the San Francisco 49ers last year. He made five tackles in five games in 2004.
Entering his fifth year, Swinton was a backup receiver and return specialist for the Detroit Lions the past two seasons. He played with the Cowboys his first two years.
Swinton had 18 receptions for 213 yards and a touchdown with Detroit in 2004. He also averaged 22.8 yards on kickoff returns and 6.5 yards on punt returns.
