Q: Aaron Hernandez credited the second half turnaround to when you and Tom Brady started clicking. What conversations did you have during halftime?
WW: That was a pretty poor first half on myself. That was pretty bad. I just wanted to let them know that that was bull on my part and in the second half, I wanted to come out and play the way we needed to play to win the game and that's what we were able to do. We were able to make some plays and everyone chipped in, and that's what it's all about and that's how you win games. It takes a full effort from the whole team and nobody really was holding us back and I felt like in the first half, I really did that.
Q: The offensive line fixed things in the second half. What was the huddle like with new guys coming in and out? Was it a sense of calm or desperation?
WW: We don't really worry about that. We just try to play together the way we need to and whoever's in there, we expect them to do their job to the best of their ability and that's the way it turned out. We kind of had some problems there in the first half that we were able to get a lot of corrections going and guys played well, tough, resilient and everything else, and we were able to in.
Q: Being down the last few weeks and facing the adversity that you had faced and being able to overcome it — how does that toughening up the team for a playoff run?
WW: There's always things that are going to go wrong in a football game and things aren't going to work out the way you wanted to all the time. The main thing is to just play the full 60 minutes and never give in and understanding that one drive and one score just to get things going - to break the ice - from there a good defensive stop and score again. That's what we were able to do and in the end, that was enough.
Q: How much did the no-huddle help get you guys back in rhythm or get you into a rhythm in the second half?
WW: The no-huddle always is a good change up for us and whenever we're having issues or anything else, we kind of go to it and we were able to kind of keep them off balance and make some plays and get everybody involved, so it's definitely a good aspect that we bring to the table.
