Tom Brady (4,343) reached 4,000 passing yards in 2013 for the sixth time in his career. He joins Dan Marino (6), Brett Favre (6), Drew Brees (8) and Peyton Manning (13) as the only players to have at least five seasons with 4,000 passing yards.

Bill Belichick has now led the Patriots to 13 straight winning seasons (2001-2013). Belichick's 13 straight winning seasons are third all-time, behind 20 by Landry (1966-85) and 14 by Curly Lambeau with Green Bay (1934-47).

LeGarrette Blount set a new Patriots single-game record vs. Buffalo on Dec. 29 with 334 all-purpose yards, gaining 189 yards from scrimmage and adding 145 return yards. Blount's performance topped the 51-year old team record set by Larry Garron on Nov. 3, 1962 when Garron had 272 all-purpose yards at Buffalo.

Thrust into a starting role after key injuries to the defensive line, Jones finished his rookie season with six sacks.

Julian Edelman finished with 105 receptions in 2013 to join Wes Welker (2007-09, 11-12) and Troy Brown (2001) as the only Patriots players to reach 100 receptions in a season. Edelman is averaging 6.4 receptions per game in 2013.

Stephen Gostkowski finished first in the NFL in 2013 with 158 total points, a single-season career-high and a Patriots team record. His five field goals of 50 or more yards are the most by a Patriots player in a single season.

Chandler Jones had 11 1/2 sacks in 2013 and had 6.0 sacks as a rookie in 2012. He is the first Patriots player with 5-plus sacks in each of his first two NFL seasons since Chris Slade in 1993 (9.0) and 1994 (9.5).

Robert Kraft's winning percentage with the Patriots (.675) since taking over the team in 1994 is not only the highest of any current NFL owner, it ranks second all-time among owners with at least 10 years of experience, trailing only Lee Joannes, who compiled a .698 winning percentage with the Green Bay Packers from 1930-1947.

Devin McCourty had a 104-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the first quarter vs. the Jets (10/21/12), the second longest kickoff return in team history. Ellis Hobbs has the longest in team history with a 108-yard return for a touchdown at the New York Jets on Sept. 9, 2007. McCourty was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance.

Spikes set a career-high with 22 total tackles at Cincinnati on Oct. 6, 2013. It is the highest tackle total for a Patriots player since Jerod Mayo had 23 total tackles vs. the New York Jets on Nov. 13, 2008.

Aqib Talib was selected to his first Pro Bowl in 2013.

Shane Vereen had 12 receptions for 153 yards vs. Cleveland on Dec. 8, 2013, setting a single-game franchise records for most receptions and most receiving yards by a running back. Vereen's 153 receiving yards topped the 53-year-old franchise running back record of 124 receiving yards, achieved by Dick Christy against the Oakland Raiders on Nov. 4, 1960. Vereen's 12 receptions topped the previous Patriots running back record of 11 receptions, achieved three times, most recently by Kevin Faulk on Sept. 3, 2000 against Tampa Bay.
