Tom Brady - By his own high standards, Brady is coming off a bad game in Buffalo in which he went without a touchdown pass for just the second time this season and threw a pick for the second consecutive week. Brady has been missing time to an Achilles injury and will have to produce without top target Rob Gronkowski against a suspect Dolphins pass defense.

Eric Lee - Two weeks into his New England career and fresh off the Bills practice squad Lee already has 2.5 sacks, four QB hits, an interception and two passes defensed. Still, Lee needs to improve his work against the run for a Patriots rush defense that's been giving up too many yards far too often.

Danny Amendola - The trusted veteran receiver has been more of a complementary target much of the season. But with Rob Gronkowski suspended it wouldn't be suprising to see Tom Brady turn to his proven option for increased production in the passing game in Miami.

Malcolm Butler - New England's former Pro Bowl cornerback has had an up-and-down season and is now dealing with ankle injury. Still, Butler will probably be a key part of the pass defense against the Dolphins, including dealing with top Miami target Jarvis Landry.

Dion Lewis - There is no question that Lewis has taken over the lead back role, including 10-plus carries in seven straight games, all New England wins. Lewis has rushed for 90-plus yards three times in his career, two of those coming in the last two weeks. After hitting for a career-best 112 yards two weeks ago against the Dolphins there's no reason to expect anything but another big game on Monday night.

Jay Cutler - The veteran quarterback hasn't exactly had a great season coming out of retirement but he'll offer New England a different challenge than it faced two weeks ago against Matt Moore. Cutler did throw for a pair of touchdowns in last week's win over the Broncos.

Jarvis Landry - Miami's top target has been the most consistent receiver in the NFL with at least five catches in each game this season. Landry hit New England for eight catches and 70 yards two weeks ago at Gillette and will be focused on trying to pull off the upset Monday night in Miami.

Ndamukong Suh - The veteran defensive tackle is one of the more versatile defensive linemen in the game. He plays with an edge and moves around the front, making him a challenge for the entirety of the offensive line as well as Tom Brady and the running backs. Suh missed some practice time this week, but if he's on the field he's a major concern for New England.

Kenyan Drake - As the Dolphins work to find a consistent running game following the trade of Jay Ajayi, Drake had a breakout performance with 23 carries for 120 yards in the win over Denver. The explosive back has had runs of 40 yards or longer in three of the last five games, an obvious challenge for a Patriots run defense that's been allowing too many chunk runs.

Reshad Jones - Miami's safety is by far the best player in the back end of the Dolphins defense. Jones is the only player in the NFL with two fumbles returned for touchdowns this season, including his 14-yard scoop-and-score two weeks ago against the Patriots. Jones' five career defensive touchdowns are second-most in Dolphins history trailing only Jason Taylor, another former thorn in New England's side.
