Jan. 16., 2005. Patriot 20, Colts 3.New England controlled the clock and kept league MVP Peyton Manning in check, as the Pats shut down the high-octane Colts. Tom Brady tossed a five-yard TD pass to David Givens and ran in a one-yard score for the Patriots, who held the ball for 37:43.

Reche Caldwell caught a four-yard TD pass from Tom Brady and Kevin Faulk added a two-point rush to tie the game at 21 with 4:36 left, and Stephen Gostkowski booted a 31-yard go-ahead field goal with 70 seconds remaining.

The Patriots QB completed 26 of 28 passes for 262 yards and three touchdowns, two to TE Ben Watson, to lead New England to a win over Jacksonville. Brady's completion percentage of 92.9 set an NFL record for regular-season and playoff games.
