With several Patriots players about to make their postseason debuts, we take a look back at the first playoff game for some current Patriots and how they fared.



Rob Gronkowski. Jan 16, 2011. AFC Divisional Round. Jets 28, Patriots 21.Gronkowski caught four passes for 65 yards, including a 37-yard reception that began a nine-play, 80-yard touchdown drive in the third quarter.





Danny Amendola. Jan. 14, 2014. AFC Divisional Round. Patriots 43, Colts 22.Amendola caught three passes for 77 yards, including a 53-yard reception that kick-started a 10-play, 88-yard third quarter touchdown drive.



Alan Branch. Jan. 10, 2010. NFL Wild Card Round. Cardinals 51, Packers 45 OT. In a game that featured an NFL playoff record 13 touchdowns, Branch made a key defensive play in his postseason intro, pouncing on a loose ball let go by Packers WR Donald Driver in the first quarter.Â

Martellus Bennett. Jan. 17, 2010. NFC Divisional Round. Vikings 34, Cowboys 3. Bennett, then a second-year player with Dallas, caught three passes for 27 yards.Â
