This year marks the fifth year that the National Football League has partnered with the American Cancer Society to promote breast cancer awareness and the importance of early detection. On Sunday, October 5th, the Patriots Cheerleaders accompanied 325 breast cancer survivors and their supporters onto the field to participate in the creation of a pink breast cancer ribbon. The final piece of the ribbon was complete when breast cancer survivor, Beth Ann Steele, ran to the center carrying the NFL's "A Crucial Catch" flag. Beth credits the NFL's initiative for her detection. Check out these great photos from Sunday's pre-game ceremony.
