An 'awesome' first day with Wahlbergs, Rutgers and more

The Drive for 5 Bus and crew wrapped up their first day on the road. Check out their Awesome Day presented by Skittles.

The Drive for 5 crew completed the first leg of the journey to Houston on Wednesday, and it was a packed day filled with special deliveries, celebrity guests and conversations with Patriots fans.

Before the crew left Foxborough on Wednesday, Paul Wahlberg came by to make sure the crew was stocked with Wahlburgers food for the long trip.  After a quick stop in Providence to pick up a second bus driver, the Drive for 5 Bus was off to find someone Pat Patriot could dance with, after Paul turned down the chance.

That led the crew to Weehawken, N.J., where they met up with Donnie Wahlberg. Donnie came aboard the bus to talk with 98.5 The Sports Hub's Jim Murray and Rob "Hardy" Poole about the Patriots and Super Bowl LI. He even taught Pat Patriot a few dance moves to use on Super Bowl Sunday.

After saying goodbye to Donnie, the bus headed back over the Hudson River into enemy territory: New York. The Drive for 5 bus stopped in front of the NFL offices to Patriots trivia and talk to football fans, and even a few Patriots fans showed up.

With a big showing from Devin McCourty, Logan Ryan and Duron Harmon in the AFC Divisional Round against the Texans, of course the Drive for 5 Bus had to see the "Patriots Defensive Back Factory" (aka Rutgers) for themselves. They capped off the night with a visit to Brother Jimmy's, where Devin is a part owner, for some good ol' BBQ.
