All good things must come to an end, but in the case of our Drive for 5 journey, we have only just begun. The crew has put the Drive for 5 Bus in park for the last time on the five-day road trip, arriving in Houston Sunday night.
The last day was surely one they will not forget. After a night in New Orleans, the group made a quick stop at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome before jetting off to Lafayette, home of Patriots Hall of Famer and living legend Kevin Faulk.
Next was a stop to see the goat. No, not G.O.A.T. We mean actual goats. Sweetwater Farm and Dairy graciously hosted the Drive for 5 Bus to get up close and personal with the greatest of all time animal. It may not have been Tom Brady, but it was pretty hilarious.
From Vidor, Texas, there was only one place left to stop: Houston. The bus drove by NRG Stadium to celebrate making it five days on the road from Foxborugh, and finished off the road trip with one last fan club rally. The Houston Patriots Fans club held down the fort at their headquarters, Diablo Loco, and threw a bash fit for the finale for the Drive for 5 Bus crew.
With the road trip complete, all that's left to do is wait until Super Bowl Sunday. Cheers to an awesome road trip -- and beds not on a moving vehicle for our dedicated crew of hosts, producers, editors, drivers and mascots.
