Andre Tippett to host Patriots Rhode Island license Plates event in Warwick, RI

The New England Patriots Charitable Foundation (NEPCF) will host a Patriots Rhode Island License Plate Event featuring tailgating-themed activities, Pat Patriot and Patriots prizes including autographed memorabilia and VIP on-field pregame passes and tickets to a 2013 Patriots preseason home game at the Warwick Mall in Warwick, R.I. on Friday, March 8.

The New England Patriots Charitable Foundation (NEPCF) will host a Patriots Rhode Island License Plate Event featuring tailgating-themed activities, Pat Patriot and Patriots prizes including autographed memorabilia and VIP on-field pregame passes and tickets to a 2013 Patriots preseason home game at the Warwick Mall in Warwick, R.I. on Friday, March 8.

In a ceremony at noon, Patriots and Pro Football Hall of Famer Andre Tippett will present three donations from NEPCF in the amount of $2,500 to Amos House, Team Providence Athletics and the Tomorrow Fund, made possible through the Rhode Island license plate program.

More than 200 Rhode Island residents who placed a Patriots license plate order received an invitation to pick up their plate prior to the event and will be able to pick up their plate that afternoon. The first 25 people to successfully pick up their license plate will receive their plate from a Patriots representative and will be entered into a drawing for an autographed Wes Welker jersey.

The public is invited to bring their current registration and place an order for a Patriots Rhode Island license plate any time during the event to be entered into a raffle for prizes including an autographed Rob Gronkowski photo, an autographed Jerod Mayo football and a grand prize of four VIP on-field pregame passes and tickets to a 2013 Patriots preseason home game.

Plates cost $41.50, with $21.50 going to the creation of the plate and $20.00 going to the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation earmarked for charitable and philanthropic agencies in Rhode Island. Plates can also be purchased at www.patriots.com/community. Following the distribution event, license plates can be picked up at the Cranston DMV located at 600 New London Avenue.
