BUFFALO, N.Y. -- It'll be more affordable to watch the Bills play their annual regular-season game in Toronto this year.
Citing challenging economic times, Rogers Communications announced Monday that it is increasing the number of tickets priced at under $100 (Canadian currency, or under $82 U.S. dollars) from 4,700 last season to 11,000 this year. The top ticket price will be $275 at the Rogers Centre, which seats about 54,000 seats for football.
It marks a 17 percent decline in the average price from last year, when the Bills played the first of five annual regular season games in Canada's largest city. The date and opponent for this year's game will be announced Tuesday.
The Bills' average ticket price at Ralph Wilson Stadium is $51, among the lowest in the NFL.
