J.T. O'Sullivan, Quarterback
(On how it felt to get into a rhythm coming in as the starter)
"It's always fun to start a game in the NFL. To go out there and have some success moving the ball and get a touchdown at the end is good. It's good to go out there and feel like you are doing things right."
(On touchdown catch by Chris Henry)
"With Chris, you can just throw it up there and let him go get it. That is one of the great things about him. We did what we wanted to do, Chris saw the adjustment and the guys gave me the time to throw and he beat his guy."
(On the extra point kick by Chad)
"Nothing surprises me. All joking aside, he still kicked the ball through the uprights and it ended up winning the game. Some people might think it's funny, but it's important."
Carson Palmer, Quarterback
(On difference between the team this year and last)
"It's a much different roster. There is a lot of mature, professional guys who take their jobs seriously."
(On feeling 100 percent ready for season)
"Oh yeah. This is my twentieth year playing football. I've been doing it for a long time, and we have a lot of things to work on and sharpen up, but I'm excited and I think it's going to be a good year"
(On having kid brother Jordan on roster)
"It's been fun. We were very close growing up and competed a lot and its fun competing at this level."
Chad Ochocinco, Wide Receiver
(On kicking in this game)
"I have been kicking since high school. It was easy it was just like riding a bike. You have not done it in a while but it is still the same thing. I do not think they need to bring anybody in. I can do the kicking for the preseason"
(On receiving)
"You have not seen anything yet. I am taking all the hate that I received from the media and balling it all up. Just like in the movie theater when you are watching all the previews, this is what I am using the preseason for what is to come."
(On winning the game)
"It does not mean much, because it is a preseason game, but there are a lot of people fighting for jobs. For us veterans, that somewhat have a job. This is the time for us to hone our skills."
Keith Rivers, Linebacker
(On the hit on Tom Brady)
"I did not notice whether it bothered him it just felt like a normal hit."
De De Dorsey, Half Back
(On the Game)
"Every time you get a chance to get the ball, you have to get it up the field. I feel like I should have scored. I think I still have a little 'camp legs' left, hopefully, I can get that worked out and next time I can take it all the way."
(On making the big play)
"Every time I get my chance, I am thinking score and every time I touch the ball I am thinking score. Hopefully, I can be a home-run threat and I want the defense to see anytime I get on the field there is a possibility of me scoring."
(On making the team)
"The competition is tough, especially with this group of guys. They are a great group of guys. It is kind of a friendly competition and everybody is pushing each other to get better. I don't want anybody to forget about me, so anytime I get a chance I want to make sure I stick in their mind. Anytime I get on the field I try to make sure I am doing something that is going to make a difference."
Rey Maualuga, Linebacker
(On the game)
"I just had to get those first couple of plays out of the way and get those jitterbugs out of the way. I felt good and I felt comfortable. I was just excited to make a few plays out there. I was excited to make up some time because I have been sitting out a week with that hamstring injury. I was excited to be out there playing football. There are sometimes when I just need to do my job. We are going to look at the film and see our mistakes, but there is no greater feeling than the first game, the first win and a couple of tackles under my belt. We are going to build on that."
