CINCINNATI (March 14, 2004) -- Free-agent defensive tackle Bryan Robinson signed a three-year contract with the Cincinnati Bengals, who are trying to bolster a run defense that ranked near the bottom of the NFL.
The 296-pound Robinson played one year in St. Louis and six seasons with Chicago before spending last season in Miami, where he had 69 tackles and 13 starts.
He has missed just one game the last six seasons, starting 90 of 96 games.
Robinson is the Bengals' first outside free-agent signing. The team re-signed wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh and running back Rudi Johnson signed a one-year tender after being designated the team's franchise player.
