BB: We had a quick turnaround last night so we're just trying to work through the film here and get organized this week; get ready for the Giants, evaluate our players, get ready for the 75 cut, all that. We have a lot of balls in the air, a lot of work to do here the next couple days. Overall last night, it was as usual, preseason a lot of things we can learn from. Tampa did some good things that gave us some problems. We can do a better job on those. Obviously we have to do a better job in the turnover department, penalty department, get away from negative plays, make more positive plays defensively and certainly some explosive plays in the passing game offensively – we haven't had any of those. We have to find a way to balance off our passing game with that. A lot of things going on here, a lot of things to work on, we'll just keep chugging away.
Q: Was there anything positive to take now that you've watched the film or was it still pretty disappointing?
BB: I thought there were a lot of positive things in the game; a lot of things we need to correct. There were a lot of things we did well. Some plays, there were multiple things we did well. We had some breakdowns, other plays had more than one breakdown, not enough things right. It was a competitive game, we just didn't do things as well as we needed to. I thought there were several positives in that game.
Q: To this point, how has the team responded to the compressed practice schedule, the three games in 10 days stretch?
BB: I don't know. We're dealing with it.
Q: Would you consider Marquice Cole a positive in the game?
BB: I think he did a number of good things, as he has the whole training camp; made plays in the kicking game, made plays on defense.
Q: Is it too early to tell how you might approach the final preseason game in terms of your starters?
BB: Right, we'll talk about that in the next couple of days. We just got back late last night.
Q: We didn't see a lot of live reps of tackling during practices. How would you assess the team's tackling thus far through three games?
BB: I think all our fundamentals can be improved. Some of them are good at times, not perfect, we need to keep working on those things. We've had our moments.
Q: Is it possible we might see you start to do some trimming before Monday's deadline? Some cuts over the weekend?
BB: I really don't know. Like I said, we just got in about 4:30 this morning. We watched the film here this morning. We have a lot of things to do in a very short period of time. What exactly the time frame will be and how that will play out, I don't know. That's something after we're done with this call, one of the many things we'll talk about in our staff and scouting meetings and so forth here over the next couple days. We'll just see how it all comes together. When we know what we're doing, we'll do it. We know what the deadlines are. If it happens before that it does. If it doesn't then we'll do it by the deadline.
