The NFL announced Monday that quarterbacks Tom Brady of the New England Patriots, Matt Schaub of the Houston Texans and Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints are the finalists for the FedEx Air NFL Player of the Week *honors for games played on Oct. 18-19, while running backs Thomas Jones of the New York Jets, Maurice Jones-Drewof the Jacksonville Jaguars and DeAngelo Williams of the Carolina Panthers are the finalists for the *FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week.
Be sure to vote for the quarterback and running back you think are most deserving of this week's honors. Voting is open right here, on NFL.com/FedEx, from 9 a.m. EST on Tuesday through noon EST on Friday. The winners will be announced on Friday evening.
You'll be voting for more than your favorite player! As part of the Air & Ground program, FedEx continues its support of Safe Kids USA -- a national non-profit organization that works to prevent accidental injury among children -- by making weekly $1,000 donations in the winning players' names. The funding, allocated to local Safe Kids coalitions in that team's city, is used for pedestrian safety improvements throughout the year, from upgraded crosswalks and street signage to traffic barriers and educational training.

Schaub passed for 392 yards and four touchdowns, completing 28 of 40 passes with one interception in the Texans' 28-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints
Brees completed 23 of 30 passes for 369 yards and four touchdowns in the Saints' 48-27 win over the New York Giants.

Thomas Jones, New York JetsJones rushed for 210 yards and one touchdown over 22 carries in the Jets' 16-13 overtime loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Maurice Jones-DrewJones-Drew rushed 33 times for 133 yards and three touchdowns in the Jaguars' 23-20 overtime win over the St. Louis Rams.
DeAngelo Williams
Williams rushed 30 times for 152 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers' 28-21 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
