DENVER (June 3, 2005) -- The Denver Broncos placed guard P.J. Alexander on the reserve non-football injury list after he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during workouts last month.
The third-year pro played in five regular-season games last season with Denver. He joined the Broncos from New Orleans' practice squad in October 2003.
Alexander had been expected to challenge Cooper Carlisle for the starting job at right guard.
